Maybe I prefer my own little world of imagination. No need to think about the little disappointments of reality, nor the uncertainty of others. Actually, beside the niceness (and sameness, I suppose) of the verbal prose, mindspeak is quite lovely. And it’s a lot more efficient too, in terms of accuracy and in time/quality ratio.

I guess it’s silly to talk in absolute terms these days. Everything I a shade of grey.

I don’t want to be like a jellyfish that bobbles around in the ocean. I would much rather be a pirate ship, full of character, in a determined quest for…something.

I read this today. It’s a quote from Steve Jobs.

Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. They somehow already know what you truly want to become. Everything else is secondary.

The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.

I want to know what I want and what I want to do. Je suis toujours Perdue.

You know, I don’t think I’ve really achieved anything this year.

I stumbled across this poem today on someone’s blog:

a prisoner of time, chained by memories

the warmest memories produce painful nostalgia
tragic memories produce sorrow

an ecstacy high, a burst of euphoria
the comedown, extremely uncomfortable and sheer dissapointment in yourself and everything around you

if life persists, is happiness and euphoria worth persuing?
should one attempt to constantly explore to attain some kind of median of happiness?

Now is the best time of my life,
Not because I genuinely believe it is, but because now is when I am the most clear about what is. Now hasn’t been tainted with the soft pink glow of faded and forgotten not so pleasant memories, so logically, now must be the best time to be.

Where does the love go?

Listening to Angus & Julia Stone’s song.

Perhaps love slash feelings and emotions etcetera remains constant in quantity throughout everywhere like the way energy is. It cannot be created or destroyed, only changed in it’s form. To a certain extent, yeah, I think that would be ridiculous, but who knows. Why do we all seem to accept that energy can’t just be made like that? Maybe its because of my limited knowledge of physics.

I plan to have a lot of fun and enjoy life to its potential very very soon. Once of age, I will be able to go to gigs and bars and possibly I could club occasionally. Or maybe I’m pinning too much hope on once arbitrary day in the year. Perhaps nothing will really change because I will still be me, with all my limitations and fears and cowardice.

One can hope.

But disappointment hits home the most once high expectations and high hopes are built up.
